I’ve found a great love for writing, but I have come to hate the query process. Hours are spent putting together perfect letters, a good synopsis, and tailoring your script to the first 10 pages, first chapter, first three chapters, first 50 pages (why can’t they be standard?) only to get a basic response from a literary agent intern that may or may not even include your actual name, let alone any feedback on your submission.
Have we become so cold and impersonal through technology?
I’m sure the number of submissions is tantamount these days, but a little warmth goes a long way!
