Fate decides the date

I missed my Sunday blog this past week because I was visiting my sister in Las Vegas!

I had such a nice visit with her and her family, but the most important part of the trip was making my final decision for the release date for Reminiscence! We had so much fun with this! First, I decided to narrow down my choices to two eligible dates: March 8, 2017 and April 4, 2017. But how to choose between the two?

Fate decides the date

Since casinos are so close at hand in Vegas, and I had a hankering for a little roulette, I decided I’d let the almighty roulette ball guided by the hand of fate help me make the decision! For March 8 (3/8) I picked a number 3+8=11 and the same for April 4 therefore (4/4) 4+4=8. So I bet on 8 and 11 and anxiously awaited the winner!

Round one: 28 (close but no cigar)

Round two: I kid you not! 8!!! It only took two spins and my book’s fate was decided.

But my sister suggested since I won some money, I should keep playing until I lose. OK!

Round three: 11?!! Really? I mean, that’s kind of amazing right? So not only did my date get picked (because 8 won fair and square) but I also won a little bit of money in the process! A good sign of things to come?! I hope so!

So the trip was a success, and I’ve got my date picked out. I’ll make the announcement this weekend and put the book up for pre-orders!
